Monitor Upgrades

Is your monitor or screen too small?

Is it dull and unclear? Would you like to have two or even more monitors for your PC? If you answered yes to any of these questions then we can help you to get more screen real estate.

Picture this; when using your PC for work you may often have your email open along with one or more web pages for research, perhaps also a spreadsheet or a client database and possibly a document you’re working on. Maybe your PC is used at home for school or uni and it’d be so much easier if you or your children were able to view a website for research while preparing an assignment in Word or another program. Perhaps you’re a gamer and the computer games you like actually “need” multiple, high speed monitors. Or maybe it’s just an indulgence and you’d like to have TV on one screen while you use the other screen for everything else.

Most Windows PCs can quite easily have more than one monitor and some even more than that.

Sometimes it’s just a matter of buying the right type of monitor and plugging it in and configuring it in Windows. Sometimes you might need to buy a new component called a video card (or graphics card) for your computer even if you just want to get the most out of one large monitor. This is a bit more complicated, but for a computer professional it’s usually no problem at all.

What kind of monitor or computer screen should you use?

There are several different types available at different price points. The design of your computer determines the type of monitor you can use, to a degree. There’s no sense getting the biggest and best monitor if your computer can’t take advantage of it. So if your computer is running out of screen real estate and you don't know the difference between VGA and DVI, Megahertz, milliseconds and pixels then call us and we'll help you upgrade your monitor and you'll have the peace of mind that you're getting the upgrade most suitable to your PC and your budget.
